Project Manager – LV/MV Grid Projects

About the role

Sagemcom is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead low‑voltage (LV) and medium‑voltage (MV) grid extension projects. You will supervise a team of engineers and site supervisors, act as the main client liaison, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8 engineers and multiple site supervisors.
• Plan, organise, source, and monitor BoQ, shipments, logistics, tools, and equipment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, suppliers, shipping agents, and internal departments.
• Coordinate with the technical manager to control technical scope, budget, and contract compliance.
• Manage project budgets, cost reductions, and revenue forecasts.
• Ensure designs and works are executed within contractual and legal frameworks.
• Oversee project execution, reporting, and on‑site staff management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 5‑10 years of experience managing LV/MV grid extension projects (minimum 2 years).
• Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary teams on site.
• Willingness to be based in regional towns.
• Good driving licence and driving skills.
• Fluent English; Kiswahili is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• AutoCAD, GPS, survey tools, and PLSCADD (advantage).
