About the role

The Marketing Assistant will support YAOWU Nexus Mobility Tanzania in coordinating equipment delivery projects, acting as the daily liaison with local clients and partners, and preparing bilingual business documents. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to develop cross‑cultural communication skills in the construction machinery and logistics sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in tracking equipment delivery project progress, organize meetings, and follow up on action items.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and local clients/partners via phone, email, and on‑site interactions; attend client meetings and document outcomes.
• Prepare business quotations, draft contracts, and produce documents in both English and Swahili.
• Gather market intelligence on Tanzania’s construction machinery and logistics industries, monitor competitor activities, and maintain a potential client database.
• Support local permit applications, document translation, notarisation, and other external affairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Fluent in Chinese (HSK 5+), English, and Swahili.
• Preferred studies: Marketing, International Business, Business English, or Chinese Studies.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication, high responsibility, and eagerness to learn.
• Prior internship or work experience with Chinese enterprises is a plus; familiarity with construction machinery or logistics is advantageous.
• Graduates from the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam are preferred.
