Teaching Intern – Abacus and Mental Arithmetic

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Teaching Intern to join our child‑focused learning centre. You will help nurture creativity, intelligence and early cognitive development by delivering engaging abacus and mental‑arithmetic lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Teach abacus techniques for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Guide students in developing mental‑arithmetic and visualization skills.
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver structured, interactive classes.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
• Encourage a positive, interactive learning environment.
• Support students in improving concentration, memory and numerical confidence.
• Organise practice sessions, assessments and other learning activities.
• Maintain accurate student records and class reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Strong passion for teaching and child development.
