Junior Accountant – Tally Prime Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join a well‑established automotive and mobility solutions organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the finance team with timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily sales, purchase, journal, payment and receipt data into Tally Prime.
• Maintain a systematic filing index for all financial documents.
• Reconcile debtor accounts and bank collections on a daily basis.
• Perform daily bank and cash‑book reconciliations.
• Monitor cost control in line with company policies.
• Update sales and transport registers each day.
• Prepare periodic statutory returns with zero errors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Experience working with an Indian firm is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally Prime (all modules).
