Scaffolding Supervisor – LPG Sphere Tank Project

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Scaffolding Supervisor to lead the erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding for the LPG Sphere Tank project in Dar es Salaam. The role requires a safety‑focused professional who can coordinate teams, work from approved drawings and ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise scaffolding erection, alteration and dismantling activities.
• Lead and coordinate scaffolding teams on site.
• Ensure scaffolding is properly braced, tied, supported and safely accessed.
• Inspect scaffolding, identify unsafe conditions or defective components, and maintain inspection records.
• Work from approved drawings, calculations and method statements.
• Coordinate with site engineering and HSE teams.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of practical scaffolding supervision experience.
• Strong experience with tube‑and‑coupler scaffolding systems.
• Good understanding of bracing, ties, access and scaffold stability.
• Ability to read basic scaffolding drawings.
• Recognised Scaffolding Supervisor / Scaffolding Inspector certification or equivalent.
• Leadership and communication skills.
