Sales Executive – Retail Store

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive revenue and customer acquisition for Vodacom’s flagship store in Mbeya. You will deliver a world‑class customer experience, promote the full portfolio of Vodacom products and services, and build lasting relationships that boost loyalty and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales and increase data and voice usage through proactive selling.
• Provide after‑sales support and ensure all customer interactions are logged.
• Educate customers on promotions, Vodacom and M‑Pay services, and upsell/cross‑sell where appropriate.
• Maintain strong business relationships and meet VTPLC service standards.
• Escalate and follow up on outstanding customer logs to ensure resolution.
• Support shop operations, comply with the Operations Manual, and report market intelligence.
• Perform any additional tasks delegated by the Shop Manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce or related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment, including weekends and shift work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
