About the role

The Purchasing Supervisor will lead the procurement function for three companies, focusing on waste sales, high‑value material sourcing, and spare‑parts acquisition. The role ensures optimal supplier relationships, cost control, and alignment with production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute waste sales across three entities, maximizing revenue while ensuring proper handling.
• Oversee procurement of raw materials, packaging, and high‑value items.
• Provide backup support for spare‑parts purchasing during staffing shortages.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and support cost‑optimization strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, financial procedures, and external regulations.
• Collaborate with production, finance, and warehouse teams to align procurement with business needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and production delays.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and waste‑sales revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience in large local enterprises or the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team in dynamic environments.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on cost control and quality.
