Project Lead Developer

About the role

The Project Lead Developer will drive the planning, development and implementation of strategic projects that span MANGA CIG’s agricultural and financial services. Reporting to senior management, the role translates organisational goals into concrete project plans, oversees multidisciplinary teams and ensures that initiatives deliver measurable value to farmers, cooperative members and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development and rollout of strategic projects across agriculture, finance, technology and operations.
• Convert organisational objectives into detailed project plans, deliverables, milestones and performance indicators.
• Conduct feasibility studies, needs analyses and opportunity assessments; prepare proposals, budgets and business cases.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines, resources, budgets, risks and dependencies.
• Monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and produce regular status reports for management.
• Identify challenges, devise mitigation strategies and propose innovative solutions that improve agricultural productivity and financial inclusion.
• Engage with farmers, cooperative members, customers and partners to capture requirements and feedback.
• Establish and track project KPIs, pilot initiatives, evaluate results and scale successful solutions.
• Seek partnerships, funding, technology adoption and business‑development opportunities while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Document processes, lessons learned and best practices; facilitate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary projects in agriculture, finance or related sectors.
• Strong ability to translate strategic goals into actionable project plans and budgets.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience working with farmers, cooperatives and financial partners.
• Analytical mindset for feasibility studies, risk assessment and performance monitoring.
• Commitment to innovation, digital transformation and continuous improvement.
