Lab Technician

About the role

The Lab Technician provides essential laboratory support to the value chain, ensuring raw material checks and analyses meet AB InBev quality standards. You will work closely with production teams to guarantee that beer produced complies with all food safety and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping, 5S standards and a safe laboratory environment.
• Prepare, identify, verify and handle samples according to manualised methods.
• Perform fundamental laboratory analyses and generate accurate results on schedule.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment in line with prescribed frequencies.
• Execute VPO activities and adhere to food safety and quality management systems.
• Record, evaluate and report results promptly, handling non‑conformances and out‑of‑control situations.
• Conduct in‑process analyses during production and support root‑cause investigations.
• Perform technical and GMP audits to improve 5S, housekeeping and safety standards.

Required profile

• Understanding of process control within a brewing or food‑process environment.
• Assertive, analytical and proactive attitude.
• Proven leadership ability and self‑motivation.
• Good grasp of VPO principles.
