Business Development Manager - Banking Solutions

About the role

Our client, a leading fintech solutions provider, is looking for a Business Development Manager – Banking Solutions to expand the adoption of its banking technology across Tanzania. The role focuses on driving growth, building strategic relationships with banks, micro‑finance institutions and SACCOs, and delivering end‑to‑end sales engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow banking technology solutions in Tanzania.
• Identify and cultivate new opportunities with commercial banks, micro‑finance institutions, SACCOs and other financial entities.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and solution presentation through negotiation and closure.
• Collaborate with technical, product and implementation teams to craft tailored solutions and proposals.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, RFP responses and solution presentations.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and relevant business forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development, enterprise or solution sales.
• Proven track record selling software, banking technology or digital financial solutions.
• Experience in fintech, banking technology or financial services is highly advantageous.
• Existing relationships with banks, MFIs, SACCOs or other financial institutions are a plus.
