Business Development Manager – Banking Solutions (Fintech)

About the role

Our client is a leading financial technology solutions provider delivering innovative technology solutions to banks, micro‑finance institutions, SACCOs and other financial institutions. They are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Business Development Manager – Banking Solutions to drive business growth, develop strategic client relationships, and expand the adoption of banking technology and digital financial solutions across Tanzania.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the company’s banking technology solutions business in Tanzania.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with commercial banks, micro‑finance institutions, SACCOS and other financial institutions.
• Drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting and solution presentation through negotiation and closure.
• Work closely with technical, product and implementation teams to develop suitable solutions and proposals.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, RFP responses and solution presentations.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and relevant business forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, Finance, Banking or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, enterprise sales or solution sales.
• Proven experience selling software, banking technology, digital financial solutions or enterprise technology solutions.
• Experience within banking technology, fintech, financial services or IT solutions will be highly advantageous.
• Existing relationships with banks, MFIs, SACCOS or other financial institutions will be highly advantageous.
