Site Acquisition & Permitting Specialist (Telecom)

About the role

The SAQ Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end site acquisition and permitting activities for telecom network rollout projects. You will ensure all approvals, licences, right‑of‑way and regulatory permissions are secured in line with contractual obligations, project timelines and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead permitting processes with local authorities and customers, including site drawings, lease agreements and regulatory submissions.
• Develop realistic rollout schedules based on permitting lead times and monitor progress against plans.
• Manage documentation control, storage and versioning for all site acquisition records.
• Collect performance data, identify deviations and provide updated estimates to completion.
• Support corrective‑action design and implementation when needed.
• Organise training and provide support to local service suppliers.
• Report progress, quality and schedule metrics and escalate issues as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Urban Planning, Real Estate, Law or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in site acquisition, permitting or telecom rollout projects.
• Proven track record of managing permitting processes with local authorities and customers.
• Ability to develop and maintain fact‑based deployment schedules and forecasts.
• Experience in project execution monitoring, cost control and quality assurance.
