HR Services Manager – Tanzania

About the role

Safeguard Global is looking for an HR Services Manager to lead HR Business Partnering for its Tanzanian operations. You will be the primary HR point of contact for workers, clients and local partners, overseeing the full employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with Tanzanian labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR advisory and support to GEO workers and client representatives throughout onboarding, performance management, compensation, promotions and off‑boarding.
• Draft, review and manage employment contracts, amendments and related documentation in line with local law.
• Handle disciplinary actions, terminations, labour disputes and escalations, involving senior HR or legal counsel when required.
• Coordinate with payroll providers to guarantee accurate and timely salary processing and statutory filings (PAYE, social security).
• Maintain HR policies, handbooks and process documentation, and proactively identify compliance and operational risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales) and local partners to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle in a multinational or consulting environment.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to anticipate client needs and mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
