Digital Lending Manager

About the role

As the Digital Lending Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end development, growth and management of NBC’s digital lending portfolio, covering salary advances, personal loans and embedded credit solutions. You will drive instant, data‑driven credit delivery across mobile, internet, USSD and API channels while ensuring portfolio quality and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive digital lending strategy to achieve loan book, revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and scale high‑impact growth levers such as payroll‑linked lending, behavioural scoring and pre‑approved offers.
• Lead digital sales campaigns, optimise customer journeys and improve conversion, approval and time‑to‑cash metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing, retail and digital teams to design data‑driven acquisition and cross‑sell initiatives.
• Develop and manage strategic fintech, mobile‑money, payroll and marketplace partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements and embedding lending APIs.
• Monitor performance dashboards covering disbursements, approval rates, cost‑to‑serve and portfolio profitability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital lending, credit risk or fintech partnership management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data insights into growth actions.
• Track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering measurable revenue results.
• Deep understanding of mobile, USSD and API‑based lending channels.
